#2a.     Compositional Movement #2a.  Due:  Sept 23.

Purpose: to create a realistic drawing with compositional movement.

Part 1:  Take a photo with your phone or camera. 

The subject matter: nature.  Print the photo.  (You might want to take more than one to have a backup).

Part 2: Crop your photo to create a good design that emphasizes movement.  Drawing a compositional sketch with value.   Critique the sketch.

Part 3:  Using illustration board, create a drawing that emphasizes compositional movement in line and value. Use charcoal or soft drawing pencils.  Size 10-15.  Finish with a 1/8^th border of black mat board.
